Kaye’s Wonderful Kitchen Lighting
Monday, June 8th, 2009 | Delicious | Comments Off
Kaye just had her kitchen renovated. She and her husband even bought new kitchen appliance such as stoves and ovens to update their kitchen’s look into something contemporary. All stainless steel, Kaye’s kitchen looks ultramodern.
Aside from purchasing new appliances, Kaye also put up new kitchen decors. She had a new clock installed and several paintings hanged. Kaye had an all glass cabinet especially made to showcase all her antique china and wine glasses collection. Her wine stand looked positively beautiful next to the glass cabinet.
To fully enhance the kitchen’s new contemporary look, Kaye replaced her old lighting fixtures with beautifully modern kitchen lighting fixtures. They were absolutely amazing. Sleek and slim, the new fixtures gave justice to Kay’s new kitchen look.
When everything was done, Kaye and her family invited some friends over for a small sit down dinner. As soon as the guests entered the kitchen, they noticed how wonderful Kaye’s new kitchen appeared. They were truly envious and said that they would want their kitchen to look just like Kaye’s. The kitchen lighting exuded warmth and togetherness that everyone felt. They all had a great time chatting and enjoying Kaye’s deliciously cooked meal of prawns, pasta and salad.

Acai Berry Capsules for Weight Loss

I’ve always been overweight all my life. I am tired of being fat and being unhealthy. I have suffered diabetes and high blood pressure due to my obesity. I realized I have to do something about my weight or I will die.
I consulted a doctor to give me a go signal to engage in an exercise and diet regimen. I found myself working out several hours a day everyday with the help of a trainer. I sweated, grunted and pumped iron with all my might. It was pretty hard at first. I wanted to cry and quit but with the encouragement of my children and family, I got through it.
Changing my diet was the key to losing my excess weight. I ate only healthy foods like fruits and vegetable. I eat only lean meat and dishes that are grilled or steamed. No more fried dishes for me. Fast food, the culprit in my weight gain, is prohibited from my diet forever. I also started taking multivitamins to help me gain energy. Antioxidants such as the Acai berry capsules also helped me maintain my weight loss.
In the span of a year, I have lost over 40 pounds and 40 more to go. I can do it. I know I can.
Ceramic Flat Irons: Beauty Kit Basic
Friday, June 5th, 2009 | Delicious | Comments Off
As soon as I get up in the morning, I immediately grab my beauty kits. Without it, I won’t be able to get ready for my day.
Don’t be fooled, my beauty kits may not be that big but it contains everything I need to make myself presentable and pretty. At home, my larger beauty kits include two ceramic flat irons that I use to make my hair stick straight, hair serums, clips, shave, tweezers, body lotions and colognes. My smaller beauty kit, one that I frequently bring with me, contains my hair brushes, toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, sewing kit, hand sanitizer and perfume.
My friends often tease me about my beauty kits but most of the time, I am able to help them get ready and look put together especially in unexpected occasions or beauty emergencies. Last night, a friend of mine tore her skirt while riding the bus. It was a good thing I have a sewing kit in my beauty bags that I was able to help her, though I’m not that great in using a needle and thread.
My beauty kits are important for me. They are the main reason why I act and feel confident as well as beautiful.
The House with an Outdoor Fireplace

Living in a small and crowded apartment that he shares with 4 friends, Oliver dreamed. He dreamed of owning a beautiful home in the countryside. He would probably be married by then with a couple of kids, a girl and a boy. Oliver would also have a dog. He always wanted to have a Labrador ever since he was little.
In Oliver’s mind, his dream house would be large with lots of space for his children and dog to run around in. His family room would contain a large LCD television with surround home theatre. The master’s bedroom would have a huge canopied bed that his wife would surely love. His whole house would have wall to wall carpeting and centralized air-conditioning.
Outside in Oliver’s dream backyard, a large outdoor fireplace made of stone will stood erect and offer warmth during cold nights. His family would host barbeque parties and Oliver would whip up some great tasting steaks, burgers and hotdogs. Oliver would then show his friends how well he could swim by teaching them how to do backstrokes. His large liver shaped pool would be the highlight of their home.
The sound of one of his friends snoring woke Oliver up out of his reverie.

Project One: Make Ice Cream
Monday, June 1st, 2009 | Delicious | Comments Off
I have been to over three grocery stores today and all of them don’t have any stock of my favorite ice cream flavor. This has happened to me twice already and I just can’t stand going through this again. I have decided to make ice cream myself starting now.
I already have my ice cream mixer and all the ingredients I would need to make my very own version of frozen dessert. Before I make a complicated flavored ice cream, I decided to first make the basic and most well-loved ice cream flavor—vanilla.
Taking the sugar, milk, and cream, I mix everything well together in a pan and constantly stir it in low heat. After that, I add vanilla to the mixture and chill it in the fridge. After a few hours, I take the chilled mixture out and place it inside the ice cream mixer. The ice cream mixer thickens the consistency and the texture of the mixture. Once the ice cream has a thick consistency, I take it out. I can either serve it soft serve or I can place it in a plastic container and freeze it some more to be able to achieve the hardness of the normal ice cream.
